Highest GradedThe Spectre is one of those anomalies in the history of Golden Age comics, albeit many books from this era dealt with dark subject matter, but, none delved as deeply into the macabre and ghoulish as the More Fun Spectre run, not until EC and the horror comics' craze of the 50s would things be as grisly and gloomy. This particular issue deals with the story of the Spectre doing battle with an evil scientist and a disembodied brain with special psychic abilities, as well as Dr. Fate and Congo Bill tales to round out the book.
