As was the norm this book really packs in the thrills, eleven stories in total, including a Spectre yarn and a couple of Radio Bandit thrillers. Johnny Quick, whose speed abilities are triggered by reciting a mathematical algorithm (one of the most bizarre and distinctive of all origin stories), makes his first appearance in this issue of the legendary More Fun series. Quick was one entry in the extended family legacy of the speedsters that has been one of the hallmarks of the Flash franchise, with generations of fast-paced heroes blanketing the history of DC hero comics to the present day.
