DESCRIPTION
Joe Kubert pencils and inks; 1st daily strip from title; 1965; image size 16" x 5"

The historic very first Tales of the Green Beret strip created by Kubert. I don't believe this was the first strip printed, but it was the first produced in the series used to sell the strip to syndicates. Tales of the Green Beret was created by Kubert and writer Robin Moore and ran for nearly four years, telling tales of the Vietnam War while it was ongoing. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition, there is some light glue residue and overall aging, but nothing major.
