DESCRIPTION
Rowland B. Wilson pencils and inks; gag panel; undated; image size 9" x 5"Gag cartoon featuring a pair of businessmen, one of whom seems very confused. Beautiful, clean drawing from Wilson. Pencil w/ink wash. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Wilson.

Rowland Wilson was a gag cartoonist whose work appeared in The New Yorker, Playboy, Esquire, TV Guide and The Saturday Evening Post among other publications. In the 1970s Wilson started working in animation, including creating sequences for Schoolhouse Rock (for which he received an Emmy), he would go on to work on The Little Mermaid, The hunchback of Notre Dame, and Tarzan for Disney.
