DESCRIPTION
Frank Brunner signed limited portfolio; 298/1000; 7 plates; 1979; 14" x 18.5" ea.

Beautiful limited edition portfolio by Brunner featuring Michael Moorcock's classic hero Elric of Melnibone, signed and numbered on the first plate (this is #298/1000). Includes seven plates, the first is a full color painting of Elric, the other six are black and white . The plates are housed in an attractive envelope embossed in silver with the hilt of Stormbringer. The envelope shows some wear, the plates are in excellent condition.

Artist Information

Frank Brunner (born February 21, 1949)[1] is an American comics artist and illustrator best known for his work at Marvel Comics in the 1970s. Brunner started as a writer/artist at Warren for Eerie, Creepy and Vampirella, at Marvel he worked on Howard the Duck, Tomb of Dracula and other horror anthologies, he also worked on Heavy Metal magazine with Elric creator Michael Moorcock.
