Spidey vs. The Green Goblin! From 'Jazzy' John Romita's first issue of Spider-Man! Extraordinary twice-up action page as Peter confronts The Green Goblin only to be bested by his asphyxiation grenade. Panel five was the inspiration for the issue's cover. Romita was given the near impossible task of following Steve Ditko, Spider-Man's creator, and he came through in spades, expanding Peter Parker's world and humanizing the characters in a way that couldn't be anticipated. Featuring inks by Mike Esposito, as Mickey Demeo. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
