For a follow-up, though, the villainous Vulture showed up to create yet another classic cover of the fledgling series. Steve Ditko's nightmarish visuals were allowed to flower in full with a bold red backing that had never been attempted on a Marvel book.Bearing a stunning 9.0 with white pages, this copy of the second issue of Amazing Spider-Man is a sight to behold. Featuring the first appearances of the Vulture and the Tinkerer as well as a very early appearance of Spider-Man, this is a glorious achievement in comics, both in its creation and its amazing preservation throughout the last 60 years. Spider-Man and the Vulture vibrantly pop on this classic Ditko cover, made even better by the unblemished classic Spider-Man logo. This is a mind-blowing copy and a very rare find. A VF/NM copy of this book is already worth staggering amounts, and will continue to increase every year as more and more generations grow up loving Spider-Man.
