Highest GradedPrevious to his storied run at the legendary EC Comics, Al Feldstein cut his teeth in the industry over at Fox Features Syndicate, working in titles like Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, the young artist honed his Good Girl Art skills at the scrappy publishing house. Feldstein’s talents were called upon to illustrate the racy teenage comedy title Junior, and the covers he drafted have become some of the most sought-after GGA pieces of the Golden Age. The humorous tableau on this cover features Junior Hancock ogling the buxom Deena Dawson and she struggles to climb into an unsteady rowboat. Classic headlights covers of the era are popular targets of a certain stripe of collectors who have a soft spot for the randy and raunchy treasures of the Golden Age.
