This iconic comic remains the Silver Age equivalent of Action Comics #1 as both a cultural artifact and a great investment for collectors. Jack Kirby ushered in the historic first appearance of Spider-Man on the classic cover; Steve Ditko took over the interior art as he worked with co-creator Stan Lee on this legendary debut. The story also set up the radical new concept of a neurotic Everyman behind the hero's mask All of this made for a timeless collectible that's kept Spider-Man (and his very human alter-ego) swinging for over 60 years as one of the most iconic and collectible characters in comics.

Amazing Fantasy #15 has always been a hot commodity, since the day it was published Spider-Man immediately captured the imagination of comic readers and instantly handed Marvel its first headline hero since Captain America. The comic has not only been consistently trending upwards in value for years, but it is also currently going bonkers, realizing sale prices never before dreamt of in the hobby. With several copies to choose from in this auction, at different grades and price points, this is the highest-graded in the mix, and it is a very comely 7.0 that hits all of the points expected from this iconic top-ten key. Shiny colors and an impressive overall presentation make this a very nice example that will see plenty of bidding action come auction time.

Overstreet Guide 2020 F/VF (7.0) value = $70,100.
