Don Newton pencils/Dave Hunt inks; page 6; 1978; image size 10" x 15"Classic Bronze Age Batman page by Newton, great hero panels followed by some Bruce Wayne and Alfred consolation. Pen and ink. Art is in very good condition, there are pin holes in the corners and some light staining.
Artists Information
Dave Hunt was an American comic book artist and fine art painter. Most active during the "Bronze Age" of American comics, he did inking for both DC and Marvel comics and Disney's comics. He was also an accomplished hyperrealist painter. Some of the titles he worked on were, Spider-Man, Captain America and the Fantastic Four.
Don Newton was an American comic artist. During his career, he worked for a number of comic book publishers including Charlton Comics, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics. He is best known for his work on The Phantom, Aquaman, and Batman. Newton also drew several Captain Marvel/Marvel Family stories and was a fan of the character having studied under Captain Marvel co-creator C. C. Beck.
