The opening splash to Graham's first Black Panther story!From Bronze Age legend Graham comes his original version to the historic opening page from his very first Black Panther story, featuring the Wakandan hero battling a crocodile. According to writer Don McGregor, the writer of this issue, Graham drew this on vellum because he was not sure what Don wanted, McGregor liked it enough that it was pasted on to an art board and lightbox inked by Klaus Janson for the published book. These are Graham's original drawings that began his legendary run with the Black Panther. Pen and ink on vellum, pasted to . Art is in excellent condition. Signed and inscribed by McGregor.
