Dan DeCarlo pencils/Jim DeCarlo inks; cover; 1988; image size 10" x 13.5"Great Archie cover by the legendary Decarlo, with inking assist from his son Jim. Pen and ink. Art is in very good condition, there is some yellowing to the title paste-up and a portion of the spine paste-up is missing.

Dan DeCarlo is an American comic book artist who's best known for modernizing the look of Archie comics through the late 50's and 60's. Dan is also recognized as the co-creator of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Josie and the Pussycats, and Cheryl Blossom. Dan has also notably worked on Sherry the Showgirl and Millie the Model for Marvel comics.
Dan and James (Jim) De Carlo were Dan De Carlo's twin sons. Just like their father, they were prolific artists of comics with the various 'Archie' characters. Dan De Carlo Jr. was the penciler, while James De Carlo took on the inking of the comics drawn by both his brother and his father.
