Jungle Comics #10 was an early entry into the popular series that ran for 163 issues from 1940 to 1954, proving that the jungle action genre was a solid and bankable comic book category from the earliest days of the industry. Featuring Kaanga, a Tarzan-like musclebound hero, on the cover of this issue, Dan Zolernowich’s classic imagery and impressive art represent a very fine example of the type of thrills Jungle Comics would provide to Golden Age readers, while modern-day collectors vie for these treasured artifacts of yesteryear.
