rare!! classic WWII concentration camp cover; Hitler app.The Destroyer was one of Timely’s big heroes during the wartime era, his exploits were very much in the vein of his counterparts, Sub-Mariner, Human Torch, and Captain America, but the character did not prove to have the staying power of the trio of heroes that ruled the roost at the publishing house. Created by a young writer by the name of Stan Lee, The Destroyer has become somewhat of a cult darling, with a loyal fanbase who collect his comics with great fervor. This cover is a true classic of the era, Al Gabrielle’s illustration is true to the Timely house style of the 40s, chaotic action, demonic Axis villains, and blazing colors adorn this amazing WWII collectible.
