The historical significance of this issue is furthered by including the first vampire story ever published in a comic book. A truly seminal moment. One other little factoid, it also contains the first published DC story by Superman creators Siegel & Shuster. This beautiful copy of New Fun #6, the "Big Comic Magazine" from October 1935, is the finest known copy! The cover's red background is so rich, and the cover text is amazingly clean. Over 85 years old now, this groundbreaking issue has been amazingly preserved and cared for. Featuring the first Siegel & Shuster DC story, the first appearance of Dr. Occult, and the first vampire in a comic, this book premiered on newsstands nearly a century ago, and still looks fresh, this is the definition of rare and historic!
