Archie Comics #1 cover homage!Beautiful twice-up cover by Goldberg, paying homage to the classic Archie Comics #1 cover which had Archie leaping over barrels on ice skates. Wonderful large drawing pasted down on hard board. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition, there is some glue residue around the edges..

Stan Goldberg was an American comic book artist, best known for his work with Archie Comics and as a Marvel Comics colorist, who in the 1960s helped design the original color schemes of Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and other major characters.
