Chester Gould sketch; Dick and Junior Tracy; c. 1940s; image size 5" x 6.5"

Great sketch by Gould of Dick Track and Junior Tracy, gifted to a girl who's family went to the same church in Oklahoma as the Gould's. The story goes that to keep children quiet and respectful Gould would gift them with Dick Tracy sketches as a reward, this is one of those sketches. Drawn on a folded piece of stationary from the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College. Pen and ink. Art is in good condition, there is water damage to the lower right of the paper which has mostly obscured the signature. Signed by and inscribed by Gould.
