Rich Buckler pencils and inks; cover; 1972; image size 10" x 15"
Ka-Zar vs. Man-Thing; 1st Man-Thing cover appearance!

The Man-Thing first appeared in the Marvel magazine Savage Tales #1, his next appearance, and first in a comic book, was in Astonishing Tales #12, neither of these books features him on the cover. This cover represents the Man-Thing's very fist appearance on the cover of any book, seen here getting the upper hand on Ka-Zar the Savage while his trusty sabre-tooth iger Zabu comes to his aid, all while AIM soldiers close in. A rare opportunity for an important piece of comic history. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Buckler.
