Frank Frazetta's Lord of the Rings portfolio; s/n by Frazetta; 63/1000; 1975; 6 B+W plates; 11" x 15" ea.Beautiful portfolio of six plates featuring images inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy tale. Frazetta captures the spirit of the story as only he can, with gorgeously rendered illustrations depicting key moments from the story that were created specifically for this portfolio. The portfolio was produced in 1975 in a limited edition of 1000 copies (this is #63), each hand signed by Frazetta in the first plate, and housed in an attractive folder within an outer envelope. The folder and plates are in excellent condition, the envelope shows minor wear. Includes a matching COA signed by Middle Earth co-publisher Steven Jon Allen.
