Val Mayerik pencils/Bob McLeod inks; page 23; 1976; image size 10" x 15"Great Bronze Age Marvel Frankenstein page by Mayerik, featuring the introduction of the villainous robot Berserker. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
Artists Information
Bob McLeod is an American comic book artist best known for co-creating the New Mutants with writer Chris Claremont. McLeod drew the graphic novel and the first three issues of the New Mutants and inked a number of subsequent issues. He penciled some issues of Star Wars and Spider-Man as well. In 1987, he inked Mike Zeck’s pencils on the Kraven’s Last Hunt storyline in the Spider-Man titles.
Val Mayerik is an American comic book/ commercial artist who is famous for co-creating Howard the Duck. Val's other notable works include Creatures on the Loose, Man-Thing and Marvel Preview.
