Dave Gibbons pencils and inks; illustration; c. 2000s; image size 15" x 10"Rorschach, Nite Owl, and the Silk Spectre, depicted as they appeared in the 2009 feature film version of the classic comic by Alan Moore and Gibbons. Beautiful illustration of Rorschach's prison escape by the co-creator of the characters. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Gibbons.

Dave Gibbons is a self taught English Comic book artist, who began in the industry doing pencils for British underground comics. Gibbons later grew to fame illustrating pages for DC's Green Lantern and Doctor Who weekly published by Marvel. Dave Gibbons most notable projects was the highly admired Watchmen (1986) written by Alan Moore.
