DESCRIPTION

lot of 5 Rare uncut 1942 Sprit sections; 9/20, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, & 10/255 great, early Spirit sections by Will Eisner and Lou Fine. These are clipped from the Dallas Morning News, where the were printed tabloid style with the eight page sections spread over two pages of the comic section. The Dallas Morning News is the only example I can find of them being printed this way, making them rarer than the usual bound inserts. The pages have holes punched along one edge from having been stored in a binder. There may be light edge wear and minor tearing, overall fine/very fine condition.
