A 15% BUYER'S PREMIUM WILL BE ADDED TO THIS ITEM AT CONCLUSION OF THE AUCTION Frank Miller pencils and inks; page 29; 1990; image size 12" x 16"
This is a stunning piece by Miller from his Elektra graphic novel. This page is from the classic sequence depicting Elektra fighting a horde of ninjas in a cemetery. Miller's artwork in this book is some of the best of his career, which is saying something, the movement and energy on display is staggering, truly the work of a genius at the top of his game. Pen and ink on vellum. Art is in excellent condition, there is a light horizontal stain about halfway up the page, this is the result of the previous page having been torn in half by Miller and taped back together with carpet tape which bled through into several of the pages underneath.
