Superworld Comics #1 would be a perpetual Golden Age fave simply for Little Nemo beginning in comics with Winsor McKay's "Little Nemo in Slumberland." (There's also the first appearance of Buzz Allen, the Invisible Avenger.) This venture by veteran sci-fi publisher Hugo Gernsback really stood out on the newsstands, too. Gernsback brought in pulp illustrator Frank R. Paul for one of the noted illustrator's very few covers for comics, featuring wild imagery in beautiful colors.
