Tom DeFalco CollectionWho better to follow Jack Kirby on Machine man than his 60s Marvel compatriot Steve Ditko. Ditko provided excellent work on the series, illustrating issues 10 through the series' conclusion with #19. Ditko's artwork from the series is incredibly rare, as Ditko almost never let go of pages that were returned to him, and because he penciled and inked them the only other pages were the ones given to the writer as it was the custom at the time for a book's writer to receive a small percentage of the original art. This page, as well as the other Machine Man pages we have for auction come directly from Tom DeFalco and have never been offered for sale before. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
