DESCRIPTION
Victory Begins At Home; original folded poster; c. 1940s; 30" x 40"John Falter Artwork. Portrait of Admiral William Halsey. This poster would have been used mostly in factories to motivate wartime workers on the Home Front. Admiral Halsey commanded the Third Fleet in the Pacific during WWII and was one of only three men to rise to the rank of Fleet Admiral, the U.S. Navy’s highest rank. The poster shows signs of use including stains and minor creases and tears, the poster is in very good folded condition.
