Sweet Bronze Age 1981 Batman splash, which was penciled by the great Irv Novick, and inked by the great Frank McLaughlin, from the story titled: "The Lazarus Affair, Chapter Three: Infinity Island!" This nice splash page features Batman looking in shock as 4 arms come out of the ground trying to grab him, as Robin, Catwoman, Talia, & King Faraday watch from behind Batman! Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by writer Marv Wolfman.

Artists Information

Frank McLaughlin was an American comics artist who co-created the comic book character Judomaster, drew the comic strip Gil Thorp, and assisted on such strips as Brenda Starr, Reporter and The Heart of Juliet Jones.

Irv Novick was an artist and inker for DC Comics. During the 1950s and 60s he often collaborated with friend and editor Robert Kanigher on DC's various war-related titles such as G.I. Combat and Our Fighting Forces.
