Ultimate Fallout #4 presents the first-ever appearance of Miles Morales, a new iteration of Spider-Man who originally inhabited a separate universe from the original Spidey—and who rose to prominence upon the death of Peter Parker. That tragic start didn't keep Miles from becoming a true fan favorite. The character became even more established when his lead turn in the hit movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse went on to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.
Issue #4 features Miles struggling to fill the role of Spider-Man, beginning with a battle against the villainous Kangaroo. The story also dares to address the negative reaction to the sudden appearance of a new crimefighter donning the Spidey suit so soon after the death of the beloved Peter Parker. Fortunately, Ultimate Fallout #4 marks one of Marvel's most successful experiments, with fans now clamoring for Miles to make a live-action debut.
The Variant Edition of Ultimate Fallout #4 has been selling for extremely impressive prices due to the relative scarcity of the run, and the fanfare for the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man. This 9.8 copy is one of the highest graded examples around, bearing absolutely no signs of wear this comic is in pristine condition and will be a hot item come auction time.
