From Marvel’s Modern Age – Original comic art of “Norman Osborn”, “Mary Jane Watson” and “Spider-Man” battling the “Kindreds”Battle splash of Spider-Man vs the Kindreds! The art was published (Sep 2021) as Page 9 to the story titled; “What Cost Victory?” Tremendous perspective!
The art is accomplished in ink over pencil on Bristol board (Ferreira sometimes had his pencils inked over a blueline print, this page has all of the art on the same board) and measures approximately 11 x 17 inches. The artist signed the work in the upper right margin. The art is in excellent condition.
On the night of his death, Harry Osborn awoke in Hell greeted by Mephisto. Confused, Harry noted his death as being heroic until Mephisto countered with Harry’s in-progress schemes with Peter’s LMD parents and the Stacy clone children. Afraid and upset, Harry begged to know why Mephisto worked so hard to damn him, only for the Hell Lord to counterpoint that he was never the true aim, but a pawn for the larger game with Spider-Man. That, even though there are now more players in this game, Hell is ultimately the consequence of one’s own making. On present day Earth, Mary Jane uses the mirror portal to reach Peter at the Osborn Paris estate, while Norman arrives from below the house. As MJ and Peter reunite, her attempt to warn Peter is interrupted by Norman telling them both that there are now two Kindreds in the building.

Marcelo Ferreira is a professional comic book artist and illustrator. He began his career working on Call of Duty: Black Ops III for Dark Horse and Back to the Future, Micronauts and Transformers for IDW Publishing. He is best known for his work at Marvel Comics on such titles as; Amazing Spider-Man, Absolute Carnage vs Deadpool, Spider-Force and Punisher: War of the Realms.
