Every passing year confirms Action Comics #1 as the most important event in the history of comics publishing. The cut-out of Superman and the car, the wheel, the man on his knees, as well as several other pieces are all original from an Action #1, affixed to a cover reproduction. On the interior, no art is missing (except cf) and there is only reinforcement of the spine and edges. The leaf casting does not affect the art.
Biljo White was one of the key figures in early comics fandom, who among other things published the fanzine Batmania and contributed to the early issues of Alter Ego.
