Sal Buscema pencils/Frank McLaughlin inks; page 11; 1972; image size 10" x 15"The Cap imposter, having kidnapped Steve, Sharon, and Falcon, reveals his origins, that he is the anti-Communist Captain America from the 1954 Atlas comics. panel 3 has an original art patch, underneath the original half inked drawing reveals it originally contained the child reading a copy of Captain America Comics #1. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.

Sal Buscema is an American comics artist, primarily for Marvel Comics, where he had a ten-year run as artist of The Incredible Hulk and an eight-year run as artist of The Spectacular Spider-Man. He is the younger brother of comics artist John Buscema.
Frank McLaughlin was an American comics artist who co-created the comic book character Judomaster, drew the comic strip Gil Thorp, and assisted on such strips as Brenda Starr, Reporter and The Heart of Juliet Jones.
