Original comic art of “Spider-Man” and “Daredevil” as they come crashing through the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City!

“Emergency Procedure” Daredevil and Spider-Man put an end to the Surgeon General’s macabre organ selling organization!

An ultra-rare offering! Full splash of two of Marvel Comics’ most popular and enduring superheroes; Spider-Man & Daredevil as they come crashing through the South Tower of the World Trade Center! McDaniel’s iconic art was used in Daredevil: The Man Without Fear! #306 published in July 1992 as the full splash page interior to the classic Copper Age issue. Extraordinary!

The art is accomplished in ink over graphite on Bristol board and measures approximately 11 x 17 inches. Bud LaRosa signed the work in the lower right margin. The art is in excellent condition.

From a private collection.

There is an effects overlay that is included.

Images of the published page and cover are for reference only.

Artists Information

Scott McDaniel is an American comic book artist best known for his work on Daredevil: The Man Without Fear!, which included the “Fall from Grace” storyline. Notable work for DC Comics included a lengthy run on Batman as well as Nightwing, Richard Dragon and Green Arrow.

Bud LaRosa is a comic book artist who was initially hired to do backgrounds for Neal Adams at Continuity Comics in 1985. But, less than a year later, he was hired by John Romita Sr. for an on-staff position as a “Romita Raider”. This is where I cut my teeth in the business, learning everything there was to learn."
