This first appearance establishes how the time-traveling Kang had already taken on the Fantastic Four in his earlier incarnation as Rama-Tut, while demonstrating how Dr. Doom inspiring his new persona. Kang the Conqueror would become one of the Silver Age's most influential figures. Of course, this first appearance also became a valuable part of modern comics history as Kang began playing a vital role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
