RESULTS OF THE 2020 EVENT AUCTION XLIII!

Last week’s Event Auction #43 - our largest auction ever with over 3,100 lots – welcomed hundreds of new bidders who placed tens of thousands of bids on millions of dollars in comics, original comic art, movie props, video games, and CGC-certified concert posters. “Consignors have already reached out to thank our ComicConnect team for another week of record-setting sales,” stated Vincent Zurzolo, COO of the New York City auction house, “I’d like to thank every participant on both sides of the hammer, all of the bidders and consignors. This auction was some of the most fun I’ve had in a while.”

The auction featured the DC Premiere Collection, a carefully cultivated compilation of firsts and first appearances, the auction debut of screen-used movie props from blockbuster superhero films, plus CGC-certified concert posters whose consignor donated a portion of the proceeds to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina

“The investment comic market continues to prove that bidders are willing to blow past current records when presented with elite opportunities,” Zurzolo added. “As we add fresh components to our Event Auctions, with trading cards coming next, collectors will have improved options for diversifying their investment portfolios.”
